Studio 20 - Aldinga Youth Centre

We have been working closely with Youth Advisory Group (YAG) at Studio 20, hosting various events, all of which aim to develop young peoples skills around cooking and enjoying nutritiously delicious food!

Here are some of the events we have been involved in...

Community Dinner for

Anti-Poverty Week

Assisted by Food Embassy, the Youth Advisory Group hosted a community dinner for Anti-Poverty Week to highlight awareness of poverty in our community. 

$150 was raised and donated to St Vincent De Paul.

Aldinga Bay Market BBQ

Each month the Aldinga Bay Business and Tourism Association hold a Market where people come with all sorts of goodies to sell!

The Aldinga YAG were invited to host a BBQ. So, with the help of The Food Embassy, we held a successful BBQ to raise money for future youth projects

On the Menu:

Sausage in bread with sauce and onion

Garden fresh berry pikelets with honey ricotta

All ingredients were sourced from local producers.

$200 was raised for future youth foodie based projects

Studio 20 SALA Festival Showcase Event

Assisted by Food Embassy, the YAG catered for the SALA (South Australian Living Arts) Event, where 50 Young artists from the Southern region showcased their art.

On the Menu:

Veggie frittata with tomato relish

Salsa cucumber cups

Brie and apricot bites

Mini bruschetta

Choc dipped manderines with crushed pistachio

Assisted by Food Embassy, the YAG catered for the grand re-opening of the Studio 20 Youth Centre.

The community was invited to come and see the brand new facilities and it was a chance to try out the brand new kitchen!!
